Another fabulous and iconic place in LA is the Hollywood Bowl. I was fortunate to get to see Ray Charles there in the late 90s. When I decided to paint it, I played around with putting various bands onstage and made my daughter pose with her guitar. Since I typically paint in my dining room, it was on an easel while I was working on it. When my parents came over for dinner, I found out that that they had gone to concerts at the Hollywood Bowl back when they were dating in the 60s. It was fun finding out more about their lives before kids that I never knew and how they had their own experiences with some of the same places I loved going to decades later! Painting the audience was the most fun part of painting this for me.

Signed Limited Edition Print of "Hollywood Bowl" by Christine Kerr matted to fit 14" x 11" frame. Actual image size is 10" x 6.5". Edition is limited to 500 prints.
